I have a 2006 ram 1500 5.7 hemi 170k 4x4 it has manual windows and basically no options beat up base model. I just picked up a 2008 ram 1500 same body style 2wd fully loaded power everything leather seats heated seats ect truck has 350k with a blown motor but this thing is MINT!! looks like it has 90k on it its crazy. I will be using all body panels and interior and putting it on the other truck doors and all.
My question is what exactly do I need to do to convert the other truck to power windows ect what harnesses and modules do I need from the parts truck?
Any input much appreciated.

You will likely have to use everything inside of the doors
I would hold onto the donor truck until you get the other one all set up

Yea im using all of the doors off donor truck just going to bolt them on same color. what I am trying to figure out is what is and isn't there for the doors to plug into ect Would be cool if i could make the remote door locks work this truck has a regular key no fob. I guess I am just going to have to start swapping things and see what happens..

After thinking about it a while even tho the parts truck has 350k on it and needs a backyard engine rebuild. I have decided I don't have it in me to tear it apart for parts its to nice not a speck of rust truck still has like new paint on frame Its spotless I guess I will just fix both... Will post pics of it if anyone wants to see it its just crazy how clean it is for its age and mileage someone must of really taken care of it.

I know you've decided to go on and rebuild both trucks, but I have done the manual to power swap and made a thread for it. Here ya go
OEM Power Windows and Locks- The Almost Complete How-to
I promise I'll add pictures here pretty soon! Also I should note that power locks are not currently working, I'll update the thread when I get them functional. To start this off; No, this is probably not worth your time. Unless you have deep connections to your truck (or really enjoy not having...

Swap power plants if the 08 is in better shape and keep the non power truck for parts.
